There's a famous local walk called 'The Long Walk' which leads from Snow Hill in The Great Park right into the heart of Windsor.

walkIt's a spectacular 2.5 mile journey, flanked with trees, full of wildlife and offering fabulous views.

To access the Long Walk from The Fox and Castle you'll need to head North on the main road (the B3021) and then after 100 yards turn left onto St Lukes Road.

This road becomes 'Crimp Hill' and after 1/2 mile it turns sharply left. Head straight on at this point.

You'll then be able to enter the Great Park by the deer gates.

You'll soon see the spectacular Copper Horse on top of Snow Hill. Take a left turn onto a track that takes you to The Long Walk.

It really is a walk worth taking, providing one of the most memorable views in all of England.
